Tredegar House in Newport was given a festive makeover this week as the National Trust property’s Christmas celebrations got underway.
Natasha Asghar MS joined hundreds of people at the 17th century mansion on Friday (Dec 1) for the big Christmas light switch on and visit the house’s Unwrapping 500 years of Christmas traditions exhibition.
Tredegar House will be changing its opening hours on various dates throughout December to give as many people as possible the chance to visit.
Natasha Asghar MS, who represents South East Wales in the Welsh Parliament, said:
“I came away from Tredegar House feeling incredibly festive and it was great to see so many people getting into the Christmas spirit.
“From the spectacular display of lights to the fantastic creations inside the house, there really is something for all to see and enjoy.
“I would encourage everyone to kick start their Christmas by visiting Tredegar House’s impressive Christmas event.”
