Talented youngster Daisy Wilks has been crowned the winner of Natasha Asghar MS’s annual Christmas card competition.
The 9-year-old Glan Usk Primary School pupil impressed the South Wales East politician with her fabulous festive entry this year.
Natasha headed to the Newport primary school this week to meet Daisy and presented her with some prizes, a certificate, and copies of her winning design.
Schoolchildren from all across South Wales East entered this year’s competition with Natasha struggling to finally pick the winner.
Natasha Asghar MS said:
“I was absolutely blown away with all of the fantastic entries in this year’s competition from creative pupils from all across the region.
“Believe me when I say it wasn’t an easy task to pick the winner, but there was something about Daisy’s design that really grabbed my attention.
“It was a pleasure to meet Daisy to thank and congratulate her and present her with a bundle of goodies. I’d also like to thank everyone who took the time to get involved in this year’s competition.”
