One of the fastest growing companies in Wales has been branded ‘completely phenomenal’ by Natasha Asghar MS.
Creo Medical, based in Chepstow, has the overarching mission to improve patient outcomes by applying Advanced Energy to the emerging field of surgical endoscopy.
Natasha, who represents South East Wales, visited the company’s headquarters to find out more about their technology, which is reducing the need for surgical intervention.
Creo Medical has a suite of solutions for clinicians and hospitals targeting critical procedures in the field of gastroenterology for therapeutic endoscopy.
The company’s advanced energy products are designed to endoscopically resect or ablate targeted tissue and lesions with unmatched control and safety.
Creo Medical’s products are being used daily across the world to treat patients.
The technology can ultimately improve patients’ lives, slash waiting times and save the NHS money.
For example, many patients who have been on the receiving end of Creo’s products during surgery are in-and-out of hospital within a day rather than prolonged periods of time – freeing up hospital beds and with minimal scarring.
Commenting after the visit, Natasha Asghar MS said:
“What Creo Medical is doing with its game-changing products is completely phenomenal and it’s clear to see why medical professionals around the world are using it.
“Creo’s cutting edge treatment has the power to drastically improve patients’ outcome, save the NHS money and reduce spiralling waiting times but as it stands the Welsh NHS has not yet taken this technology up.
“I take my hat off to the team at Creo Medical for all the fantastic work they are doing and it’s great to have this company operating from my region of South East Wales.
“I will be highlighting this technology with the Health Minister because it has the power to deliver huge benefits for the people of Wales and our cherished health service.”
