For far too long, we have had to put up with a creaking transport network with long traffic jams and crumbling roads.
Our inadequate road network is having a damaging impact on our economic fortunes, public safety and the environment and I am deeply disappointed with Labour’s failure to deliver the much-needed M4 relief road.
We need to see the Welsh Government reverse its decision to scrap road building and improvement projects and start investing in our roads.
I want the size of the wetlands to be increased in a bid to lower carbon dioxide levels along the M4, opening up the possibility of removing the redundant speed cameras along the M4.
And I will push for the much-needed Chepstow Bypass to be built to alleviate traffic in the area.
